My Guest Post for The Mighty

Having a banner week here in SPD advocacy-land! Today, one of my favorite articles that I ever wrote, An Ode to My Handler, originally featured in Sensory Focus Magazine's spring 2014 edition, was featured on The Mighty's webpage. It's a piece about how pivotal my husband is to my sensory well-being. I call him my "handler" because not unlike a wild animal and a trainer, he helps me contain my sensory issues when they're at their worst.
